An antique oil painting on canvas. This pastoral piece depicts a river with cattle approaching from the left and wading in the shallow water. There is a farmhouse on a far bank and waterfall in the distance. This work is unsigned and presented unframed as a stretched canvas with wire to the verso for hanging.

- notable craquelure to surface of piece; accretion to surface; notable loss of paint throughout; hole in canvas to right side of piece and upper left corner; damage to lower center which has been patched from the back by a piece of diaper.
