Antique Armand Marseille Bisque and Composition Doll
Item Details
An antique Armand Marseille bisque and composition doll. This German made doll features a hand-painted bisque socket head with a modern sandy blonde wig, glass sleep eyes, and parted coral lips with a visible row of teeth. The fully jointed composition body is clad in a red, white, and navy Scottish tartan kilt and matching black velvet hat and jacket. The doll is impressed with ‘390 A 6/0 M’ on the neck. Also offered is a miniature composition doll in similar garb, featuring a mohair wig, inset glass eyes, and open mouth with teeth. It is marked ‘Germany 12/0’ on the back of the head.
