A pair of early 20th-century color etchings on paper titled Bachelor’s Hall: Plate I and Bachelor’s Hall: Plate II, each after Francis Calcraft Turner (British, 1782 – 1846). Each piece depicts a mid-19th-century English hunting scene of figures with black top hats and red coats on horseback. The unsigned prints include titles and descriptive text printed in plate along the lower margins. Each is presented under glass with a reverse-painted border, in a black wooden frame with gold tone trim, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- toning, foxing and discoloration to prints; scratches and wear to reverse-painted glass; nicks, edge wear and scratches to frames.
