A collection of Egyptian-style gouache paintings on papyrus. These three include a depiction of an Anubis statue, signed ‘Hafez,’ an unsigned copy of the ‘Hieroglyphic Alphabet,’ and a painting after Thutmose’s Bust of Nefertiti, illegibly signed to its lower left. The paintings are each floated between glass in gilt frames and include hanging hardware to their versos.

Condition

- wear to edges of each ground due to natural qualities of papyrus; general wear to each frame.

- measures largest frame; ground measures 13.0" W x 16.0" H.
