An oil painting on masonite board by contemporary Canadian artist Sarah Kinan. This whimsically illustrative work depicts two women standing in a field of lilacs, holding a white cat. They stand against a pastel tone stippled background. The work is signed in the lower right corner. It is presented in a distressed wood and gesso frame with molded arabesque motif. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

Condition

- light edge wear to frame, lower left corner is chipped. There are only a few visible smudges to surface of painting (on the left arm of girl in yellow dress).
