An antique Doulton Lambeth stoneware pitcher. This rare antique pitcher was made by the iconic English company Doulton Lambeth circa 1890s. It features a rich cobalt-blue glaze to the interior of the mouth, a marbled mocha-colored glaze to the neck and handle, hand-tooled floral patterning glazed by hand in pale blue over a warm buff glaze to the center of the body, above and below which is a band of cobalt blue with a repeating stylized organic pattern. The vase is embossed with the company’s logo to the underside as well as the maker’s initials LYL.
