El Shami Egyptian Copper Plates
Item Details
A set of five El Shami handmade Egyptian copper plates. Each plate features an ornate detailed depiction of an historical figure or event including Queen Cleopatra head dressed as goddess-Isis, Two Nobles from a party Scene sitting among Lotus Flowers, two plates depicting mythological sacred barges said to carry the deceased to the underworld, and a plate depicting King Ramses II in The Battle of Kadesh. Each is marked ‘El Shami copper plates hand made in Egypt’ to verso and has a small hook for hanging.
