Vintage Candlestick-Form Table Lamp and Converted, Antique Wagon Wheel Hub Lamp

A vintage candlestick-form table lamp and a converted, antique wagon wheel hub lamp. The brass, candlestick-form example features a baluster finial and a shaped harp above a later bulb socket retaining a ‘Stiffel’ label and marked ‘Leviton / Made In U.S.A.’ Directly below is a candlestick-form body with a bobeche-style waist continuing to the original turn knob just over the base. The second lamp has been converted from an antique wagon wheel hub. It has a brass-tone, pineapple finial and a shaped harp above a single, bulb socket. The wooden, staved body is reinforced by iron bands. The socket is marked ‘Leviton / Made In U.S.A.’ and the underside is stamped ‘180’.

Condition

- wagon wheel hub lamp not tested since plug is broken; candlestick-form lamp tested but didn’t power on; both with scattered surface wear, marks, and oxidation/tarnishing; candlestick-form lamp re-wired at some point; iron rings of wagon wheel hub are slightly loose; some cracks/age splits and losses to wooden body, including an exposed spoke notch on one side.
