Vintage Danish Iron Art Bronze Casket Box
Item Details
A vintage Danish Iron Art bronze casket box with a wood lined interior. The exterior features relief scenes depicting a scene of Danish King Valdemar during the Battle of Lyndanisse in 1219. A brief description of the legend is written on the inside of the lid under a banner reading ‘15.Juni Anno 1219 June 15th’. The back is marked ’Iron Arts Copenhagen Denmark”. The box dates to circa 1940.
