A Tiffany and Co. bronze American Cancer Society Award with a case presented to Dr. Ambrose H. Storck. Featured is a bronze medal, approximately three inches in diameter, created by Tiffany and Company. The obverse of this cast medal features a relief representation of Saint George slaying the dragon holding a shield embellished with a caduceus inspired symbol; the reverse depicts a sword form of the caduceus like symbol with block letters which read ‘For Distinguished Service In Cancer Control’ ‘Ambrose H. Storck’. Dr. Storck (1903-1975) was a surgeon and faculty member at Tulane University. This award is held in a fitted case with nylon like fabric to the inside of the hinged lid, and a velvet like fabric around the medal.

- some tarnish and spotting to medal, scratches and small tears to the leather exterior of the case
