18th Century Chinese Porcelain Teapot

An antique Chinese porcelain teapot. This piece is decorated by hand with polychrome enamels with a central reserve depicting a female figure passing a teapot to a child and a seated man in a courtyard with mountains and trees in the background. The form shows a crabstock spout and a simple handle. No maker’s marks are noted as is typical for items of this age and origin.
