Native American Inspired Items Including a Wood Flute
Item Details
A group of Native American inspired items including a wood flute tied with leather. Included is a rabbit fur trimmed rattle wrapped in leather, with added beads and a hand-painted bear to one side of the rattle head. A small white horsehair raku fired ceramic pot is included that appears to be signed to the base ‘Vaid’. Also included is a pair of soapstone carved animals in tan and black. The tan piece of soapstone resembles a bear with his head down, and does not appear to be marked. The darker piece of soapstone appears to be a pig, this piece is labeled to the base ‘Fait Au Canada BOMA Made in Canada’. The other pieces, including the flute do not appear to be marked.
