Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian garden Tabriz rug. This vintage area rug was hand-knotted in Persia and features a carmine-red field densely ornamented with symmetrical floral patterning in slate blue, sage, forest green, carmine, and ecru, between which is a central medallion showing stylized floral motifs in a similar color palette. The rug has four large corner spandrels with coordinating floral patterning, as well as a principle border and one minor border. The rug is finished with a single-wrapped selvage to both sides and a short natural warp fringe to both ends.
