Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar rug. This vintage rug was knotted by hand in Persia and features a carmine-red field with a mirrored abstract patterning in navy blue, apricot, coffee brown, honey, fuchsia, and umber to one side, and the same to the other end with stone grey replacing the navy blue portions. The rug has a large geometric center medallion in stone grey, apricot, and fuchsia, around which is an abstract principle border and two similar minor borders. The rug is finished on both sides with a single-wrapped selvage and to both ends with a natural warp fringe.
