A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hajjalili Tabriz rug. This vintage area rug was knotted by hand in Persia and features a vibrant crimson field densely ornamented with stylized organic motifs in white, apricot, cerulean, sky blue, olive, mauve, honey, and cream. It has a long center medallion in a coordinating color palette showing abstract motifs and four corner spandrels with similar patterning in cream, sienna, cerulean, navy, olive, umber, and crimson. The rug has a repeating principle border in navy, cerulean, hunter green, and sienna, which is flanked by identical minor borders in sienna, sky blue, crimson, and chocolate-brown. The rug is finished on both sides with a single-wrapped selvage and has a natural warp fringe to both ends
