Vintage Fireplace Tools and Log Rack

Item Details

A group of vintage fireplace tools and a log rack. The black, iron fireplace tools feature twisted handles with gilt-finished, ball terminals. They include tongs, a shovel, a poker, and a handle with a detached, brush head, all of which are supported by a matching stand with a loop handle at the top and scrolled arms. The lot also comes with a miniature, lidded pot with a swing handle as well as a metal, steel-toned log rack. There are no maker’s marks.

Condition

- scattered surface/finish wear with spots of losses and oxidation/rust; log rack does not match tool set; extra handle in tool set may not have been attached to the included brush head, thus possibly missing its original attachment.
