A hand painted ceramic tile of a hieroglyphic scene. This Egyptian style composition depicts a figure kneeling while holding onto a dark orb while raising their other hand in the air. Flanking this to either margin are various hieroglyphic characters lined in a vertical formation. The composition is presented in a low relief and painted with gold, salmon pink and blue tones. This is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring a linen liner with hanging wire to the verso.

- worn frame finish; scratches to frame; light surface wear; minor marks and scratches to surface; light tearing to paper backing.
