A hand-knotted Indian Agra-style wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of wine, stone, ivory, pine, gold, walnut, and rose. The wine colored field features a lattice of large palmettes with leafy and flowering vines. Framing the field is a main herati border, along with floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton kilim skirt with a cotton warp fringe at the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
