An original gouache and watercolor painting on paper by listed Brazilian artist Reinaldo Manzke (1906 – 1980), titled Venda do Chico – interior state São Paulo – Brazil. The painting depicts a pair of horses tied up outside of a small white building in a lush, tropical landscape. The painting is completed in short, energetic strokes. It is signed in paint to the lower right, and a tag attached to the verso gives its title. The piece is double-matted in beige and brown and presented behind TruGuard UV protection glass in a composite frame with gold tone finish and a hanging wire.
