1963 Pinup Calendar Featuring Al Buell Illustration

A vintage 1963 pinup art calendar, featuring an offset lithograph reproduction of an illustration by American artist Al Buell (1910 – 1996), titled Real Cute. The imagery depicts a young woman in a red gown and sheer black shawl sitting on the ground and holding a single white rise. A pull-off paper calendar for 1963 is attached to the lower edge, where an advertisement for Dorman Products, Inc. is also printed. The piece is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black and gold tone finishes and a sawtooth hanger.
