1961 Art Calendar Featuring Bill Medcalf Illustration

A vintage 1961 art calendar, featuring an offset lithograph reproduction of an illustration by American artist William (Bill) Medcalf. The imagery depicts a young boy crying as a police offer returns his lost collie to him. A pull-off paper calendar for 1961 is attached to the lower edge, where an advertisement for Dorman Products, Inc. is also printed. The piece is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black and gold tone finishes and a sawtooth hanger.
