A monumental brass rubbing titled Thomas Chaucer from Ewelme in Oxfordshire, England. This piece presents a man wearing armor and chainmail standing on a small unicorn with his hands held in prayer. It is rendered in gold-tone and red crayon against a black ground, and the brass is dated 1436. The work is presented unsigned under glass in a metallic wood frame, wired to hang.

- minor wear to edges and corners of frame; mark to lower edge of mat.
