Originally from Pittsburgh, Chiaka Howze moved to Seattle in 1999. Despite being homeless and sleeping on his art cart for years, he continued to create monumental artwork that often features iconic and mystical female figures. He works with various materials including paint, found objects, discarded waste, and styrofoam creating vibrant paintings and sculptures. The artist currently lives and works in Pittsburgh.

Condition

- 4-inch cut in upper left area of board; wear along board edges including small splits, bending, and fraying.
