This Bausch & Lomb microscope features a 10X ocular lens set in a cast metal frame with coarse and fine focus control, a rotating nosepiece with three objective lenses, a fixed square stage with an X-Y translational slide mount and a substage condenser. The microscope is marked ‘Bausch & Lomb Optical Rochester N.Y. U.S.A.’ to the body and is presented in a wooden storage box with three plastic jars for the objective lenses.
