A set of four 1928 promotional prints on paper issued by Wright Aeronautical Corporation from their series Flights: Unforgettable Exploits of the Air. The prints feature imagery after artist Frank Lemon depicting milestones in aeronautics. Prints include To Australia by Air: Kingsford-Smith and his Companions over Suva, 1928; Crossing the States in the Span of the Same Sun, Lieutenants Macready & Kelly, 1923; The Conqueror of One Pole Attempts the Other, Commander Byrd, the Antarctic, 1929; and With One Beat of His Wing, Charles Lindbergh Goes to Paris!, 1927. Each work is signed ‘Lemon’ in plate to the lower margin, with the title, company name and copyright date of 1928 printed in plate below. The prints are presented under glass in wooden frames.
