After surviving a nearly fatal shooting in 1978, Warmack rededicated himself to his art, thereby adopting the moniker ‘Mr. Imagination’. His works can be found in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the American Folk Art Museum, and the American Visionary Art Museum.
