Japanese Lacquer and Wood Chopsticks
Item Details
A collection of three sets of Japanese wooden, lacquer, and abalone chopsticks. The chopsticks are encased in black lacquer boxes, which feature gold painted floral motifs and abalone inlay. The larger box is signed ‘Asahi’ to the top. A ‘Made in Japan’ label is featured to the underside of each box.
Condition
- some surface accretions and minor scratches to chopsticks; adhesive residue to boxes; paper box is falling apart and contains water stains.
