Japanese Tokoname Ware Vases with Dragon Motifs

Item Details

A grouping of three Japanese Tokoname ware vases with dragon motifs, circa early – mid 20th century. These late Meiji (1868-1912) and Taishō period (1912-1926) vases feature dragons in relief decorated in gilt paint. The tallest vase features a dragon double-handle on the shoulders and a thirteen petal mouth. None of the works are signed.
