An original oil painting on canvas board by contemporary listed American ‘Artist of the Southwest’ Peter Grab (New Mexico), titled Tesuque View. Grab is known for his loose, plein air style landscapes such as this one. The painting depicts dry shrubs and dirt lining the foreground as shadowy desert bluffs loom in the distance. The painting is signed by hand to the lower left, and is signed and titled to the piece’s verso. It is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. Grab studied at the Art Center in Pasadena, California before moving to to New Mexico in 1981 and beginning to paint the Southwest landscapes he is now known for.
