A Herschede Princess Anne small grandfather clock. The clock features an elegant style with an oak finish on select hardwoods and veneers and a curved broken arch pediment bonnet with beveled edges. The clock has bamboo style side columns and a glass front door with a walnut burl frame and displays a goldtone face with raised brass scrollwork spandrels with a blue and silvertone moon phase dial above. The clock also features a silvered dial with raised goldtone Arabic numbers and serpentine hands set on a goldtone center with an embossed foliate design and a glass front door with decorative gilded trim. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum with cylinder style weights on chains with a weight driven movement a podium style pedestal with inset burl wood panels and the clock stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is labeled ‘Herschede’ on the face and door.
