A limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled The Duel by American equine artist Fred Stone (1930 – 2018). The piece depicts rival American Thoroughbreds Affirmed and Alydar during one of their 1977-78 races. The print is signed both in plate and by hand to the lower left, hand-titled to the lower center and numbered to the lower right as 298 out of an edition of 750. It is double matted and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
