A collection of six sterling silver oyster forks in the Mount Vernon pattern by Mechanics Sterling Co. of Attleboro, MA. The Mount Vernon pattern was designed in 1907 by Joseph E. Straker, Jr. and features a double curved reeded fiddle stem with a scrolled plume accent on the handle tip. The spoons are marked to the underside with the maker’s mark for Mechanics Sterling Co. and ‘Sterling’. The total approximate weight is 2.600 ozt.
