A limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled The Final Thunder, Man O’ War 1917 – 1947 after a painting by American equine artist Fred Stone (1930 – 2018). The piece depicts the champion American Thoroughbred in his later years, as a scene from one of his earlier races is depicted in the gathering storm clouds to the background. The print is signed both in plate and by hand to the lower left, hand-titled to the lower center and numbered to the lower right as 228 out of an edition of 695. It is triple matted and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
