Item Details
A hand-knotted Chinese Nichols area rug. This Art Deco rug is rendered in a palette of caramel, slate blue, sapphire, indigo, magenta, lavender and honey. The caramel colored field is framed in magenta and onyx solid borders, and features scattered floral motifs flowing over the borders along with floral filled urns to the field. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with short honey colored fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
