Vintage Finely Hand-Knotted Persian Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A vintage finely hand-knotted Persian wool accent rug. This horizontally aligned rug is rendered in a palette of slate, crimson, ivory, wheat, powder blue, rose, avocado, and mocha. The ornately designed slate colored field begins with a round medallion infilled with a single bloom, and framed with dove motifs, floral sprays, and ending in palmette medallions. Framing the field is a main laleh abbasi style picket border, along with a carnation meander guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
