A contemporary mixed media wall hanging. The Folk Art style piece depicts Noah’s Ark sailing over dark, rolling ocean waves. The work is rendered in overlapping earth-tone hues using layers of acrylic paint and varnish over a hand-carved wooden panel. The piece is signed with an incised marking to the lower right appearing to read ‘L’. It is presented unframed, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
