Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Turkmen wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of crimson, emerald, clementine, ivory, cobalt, black, and mocha. The crimson hued field features two rows of bold aina kochak medallions, along with a series of small X-forms. Framing the field are multiple geometrically patterned borders including ram’s horns, diamonds, and arrow motifs. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short wool warp fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
