This sword features a brass pommel with a bowtie shaped cap, a wooden grip with a white rayskin shagreen covering, and a round brass tsuba guard with a cherry blossom motif, leading to a slightly curved, single-edged blade. The metal scabbard has a brick red painted finish and a single ashi mount with a suspension loop, a semegane scabbard band, and bowtie kojiri chape.
