A pair of oil paintings on canvas of nature scenes by listed Contemporary Chinese artist Tsun Ming Chmielinski. Featured is a composition of flowers rendered in painterly brush strokes and bright hues. This work is signed ‘TMC ’04’ to the lower right corner. Included is a piece depiction a creek rendered in rural area surround by trees and mountains. This piece is signed to the lower right corner. Both works are presented unframed.

Tsun Ming Chmielinski is a Chinese artist raised in Hong Kong. Chmielinski moved to the United States in the 1970s and has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an Master’s degrees in business from Bentley University and Emerson College. She received art training at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Massachusetts College of Art where she studied drawing and painting. Ming currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Her work holds influences from Chinese culture, particularly Sumi-e ink wash painting, as well as Western subjects including portraits and still life.
