A late 20th century oil painting on canvas by listed artist Erich Paulsen (German, born 1932). The piece depicts an Impressionist-inspired waterfront landscape scene, with distant figures walking upon beaches of white sands and green vegetation, set against a backdrop of blue skies and the ocean’s gently rolling waves. The work is signed by the artist to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with moulded embellishments and speckled multicolored finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
