A vintage, hand knotted Persian Mahal area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion and pendants on a rectangular field with floral motifs in a palette of crimson, orange, olive, teal, gray and cream. The field is framed by a Josheghan Herati major border and carnation meander minor border, and the far ends have close-cropped fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
