A watercolor painting on paper by an anonymous artist. This still life depicts a collection of realistically-rendered objects including a metal beer stein, plate, candlestick, books and paper scroll, and a long pipe in an empty white ground. It is unsigned and presented behind a mat and glass in a painted cream and teal wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- discoloration and marks to paper; discoloration to mat particularly along lower edge; abrasions and wear to frame.
