Antique Clark's Walnut Spool Cabinet and Others

An antique spool cabinet. The cabinet includes three stacked sections, featuring an antique Clark’s walnut cabinet, an antique Beldings silk thread display cabinet, and an antique Willimante Co. thread cabinet. The Clark’s cabinet has a molded top and carved side supports with a tambour panel on the front, and a glass window at the side, displaying channels filled with spools of colorful thread, and it is marked ’Clark’s O.N.T.’ The second cabinet has glass front drawers, filled with spools of variously colored threads. The drawers have brass handles, and there is a wood front drawer at the bottom, with the side panel lettered with ’Belding’s Spool Silk’. This section rests atop a larger cabinet with cast metal plates affixed to the sides, with one marked ‘Willimante Six Cord Spool Cotton’. It has six drawers on the front, accented with ornate pressed metal, each with a different message, including ‘Best Threads For Sewing Machines’, ‘Spool Cotton’, ‘Willimante Co.’, ‘Soft Finish’, ‘White, Black & Colors’, and ‘Six Cord’. The drawers have molded glass knobs, and it rests on a molded base.
