Paul Brown Ground Breaking Ceremonial Shovel

A shovel that is one of only eleven in existence that was used in the groundbreaking ceremony for Paul Brown Stadium. Paul Brown Stadium opened in 2002 and is the home of Cincinnati’s professional football team the Cincinnati Bengals. The blade has the engraving ‘Paul Brown Stadium Groundbreaking April 25, 1998’. The plate near the handle’s edge has the engraving ‘A Project Of Getz Ventures NBBJ Turner/Barton Malow/D.A.G.’ The shovel still retains original dirt from the ceremony.
