A signed exhibition poster for the Boston Center for the Arts Costumes of the Latin Quarter, designed by well listed Russian-born artist Erte (1892-1990). This poster features an image by Erte titled Trapeze, depicting an Art Deco style showgirl with an orange and pink feather costume. A cloud of smoke behind bears red letters reading ‘Woman As Fantasy’. The work is signed both in-plate in the lower right of the image, and by hand by Erte in the lower right margin. It is presented under clear glazing with layered mats in a black wood frame. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso, along with a certificate of authenticity.
