A vintage, hand-knotted Persian Serapi Heriz rug. This wool rug features a center medallion and chained pendants on a lozenge-shaped field, with spandrels, in a palette of sage, scarlet, plum, gold, royal blue, indigo and white. The field is framed by a compound border with white fringe to the far ends. The rug is unmarked.
