Two Antique Queen Anne Style Rush Bottom Chairs
Item Details
A pair of very similar, but slightly different, antique Chippendale style side chairs. The chairs have curved top rails, straight back uprights, vase-shaped center back splats with horizontal reeded bottom rails, woven rush seats, and turned bobbin legs. The chairs have similar, but slightly different turned front stretchers, and one chair has straight and flat side stretchers, while the other has turned side stretchers. Neither have maker’s marks.
