Power-Loomed "Taughton Claret" Area Rug

A power-loomed Taughton Claret area rug. This rug has an Indo-Persian style, and it is rendered in a palette of cranberry, black, camel, ivory, and taupe. The cranberry colored field begins with a lobed pendant medallion, and featuring an abundance of scrolling vinework with palmettes and floral motifs. The densely populated field is framed by a main stylized herati pattern, along with floral meander, and geometrically patterned guard borders. Finishing this rug are serged edges and ends, as well as a label to the underside, ‘Made in U.S.A.’.
