A pair of hand-painted miniature illuminated parchment leafs from a 15th or 16th century Book of Hours. The works feature Latin devotional text with decorative gilt accents, drop caps, line fillers, and foliate marginalia. The pages are held in off-white mats with double-sided windows, wrapped in protective plastic.

Condition

- warping on each ground; mat burn on each ground; rubbing on gilt accents; discoloration on each ground.

Dimensions

- measures one mat board; visible image measures 3.75" W x 3.75" H.
