A pair of hand-painted miniature illuminated parchment leafs from a 15th century Book of Hours. The works feature Latin devotional text with decorative gilt accents, drop caps and floral marginalia. The pages are held in off-white mats with double-sided windows, wrapped in protective plastic.

Condition

- mat burn on one ground; minor warping on each ground; discoloration on each ground; rubbing on gilt accents.

Dimensions

- measures one mat board; visible image measures 2.5" W x 3.25" H.
